DESCRIPTION
This 8-day motorcycle tour Chile Argentina takes you on a breathtaking loop from Santiago de Chile into the heart of Argentina and back. Designed for riders who want more than just kilometers, this tour blends spectacular riding with natural wonders, iconic mountain passes, and coastal highlights.
We depart Santiago and head straight toward the Andes, climbing through a world of alpine landscapes until we cross the legendary Cristo Redentor Pass into Argentina. The high-altitude scenery, sweeping curves, and raw Andean atmosphere set the tone for the days ahead.
Once in Argentina, the adventure continues through the vineyards and desert plains of Mendoza Province, leading us to the dramatic Cañón del Atuel — one of the geological gems of the entire route. From San Rafael, we push south toward the Patagonian steppe, reaching Malargüe and preparing for our second Andean crossing.
The return to Chile takes place via either Paso Pehuenche (paved, scenic, and vast) or Paso Vergara (remote, gravel, and adventurous), depending on rider preference and skill level. Both options deliver unforgettable volcanic landscapes before we descend to the tranquil waters of Lago Colbún.
From the mountains, the route transitions to the Pacific coast. We ride through Cobquecura and Constitución, known for towering cliffs, rock formations, and dramatic sunsets. The following day takes us to Pichilemu, Chile’s surfing capital, and then into the rolling vineyards of Santa Cruz, home of the Colchagua wine valley.
The final stretch brings us north along the coast through Matanzas, ending the day in the iconic port city of Valparaíso — colorful, chaotic, historic, and alive. After exploring its winding hills and murals, we complete our loop back to Santiago for a relaxed final ride.
This tour is more than just a ride — it’s a curated journey across two countries, combining mountain passes, desert canyons, surf towns, wine valleys, and cultural flavors on both sides of the Andes. Perfect for riders seeking adventure, comfort, and the kind of memories only a trans-Andean journey can deliver.
